Paragons 2 Page 4
Hands began to rub my back. A deep penetrating massage of my body, and it felt amazing. The combination of the hands and the water was intense. “That feels amazing,” I said.
In answer, I felt lips press against my back and the hands move down to my ass and tease me. “Not today,” I said. Maybe one day I would let them stick a finger up my ass, but not yet. I needed to build up to that. I’ve been alive for millennia and hadn’t done that. It was going to be special when I did.
“You’re no fun,” Lola’s sultry voice said.
“I’m plenty of fun,” I answered.
We both laughed, and I spun around to view her. Her perky breasts were out and inviting me to kiss them. To cup them up and feel her. Her doe-like eyes took me all in, from head to toe, and only paused at my dick.
“You look ready,” she teased.
“For you, I’m always ready.”
She reached down and took my cock in her hand and stroked it. Letting my member get even harder for her. As she jerked me off, I bent down and kissed her. Her soft, luscious lips pressed against mine.
Each time I was this intimate with her was better than the last. Her scent filled the air, a sweet combination of a sugary, floral aroma. The kiss lasted until I was about to come from her hand, that was still going to town with my dick.
I pulled away from her. “Not yet.”
Quickly I shut the water off and picked her up. I didn’t bother with drying off and carried her out of the bathroom, to my bed. Gently I set her down on the bed, and with care spread her legs for me.
I kissed her toes, then her feet. I made my way down her legs to her glorious pussy. It was cleanly shaven for me. Not a hair for me to deal with. Reaching her flower, I inserted a finger in her, and my mouth spread her lips to start sucking on her clit.
Right away, she moaned in pleasure, and I fingered her and sucked on her. My cock was throbbing and itching to enter her, but I wasn’t going to miss out on tasting her sweet juices.
“Ares!” she moaned as she shot her own come on me. After her body stopped shaking, she peered at me with lust in her eyes. “Fuck me.”
“Only if you ask nicely,” I teased her.
“Please,” she moaned.
I slid up her, and my cock rested on her lower lips about to enter her. Lola groaned in anticipation. Wanting me to plunge into her, to make love to her. To feel my member filling her, all of her. Making her climax again and again.
Just before she begged me to enter her, I did. Sliding into her dripping wet pussy. I loved that she was extremely wet for me. The way her walls felt against my cock as I thrust in her. Each time I penetrated a little deeper, and a harder. She reached around me and clutched my back. She moaned in pleasure as we made love.
“Ares!”
We continued to make love until we both climaxed multiple times and collapsed into each other's arms.
“That was amazing,” Lola said.
“It really was.”
Being with her was one of the best things in the world. Her and Fleur. I was the luckiest God alive.
The door to my room opened with a knock, and I hoped it was Fleur walking into to join for round two. Or even maybe Felicity, so I could find out what who she like was in the sack, if Lola was up for it. I had a feeling that Fleur would be.
I was in for a disappointment, as my half-sister Athena walked in. Athena didn’t blink an eye at finding me lying on the bed nude and enveloped in Lola, She had seen worse in her lifetime with our family and me.
Lola didn’t move an inch, nor did she seem to care.
“Ares,” Athena said.
“What?” I didn’t move as I was enjoying the feeling of Lola’s body against mine. Just her presence helped ease my tension, and I didn’t want that to end.
“We need to talk,” Athena said. “I think we made some progress.”
“Great. So did we.”
The Goddess of Intelligence nodded. “That is what Fleur said, and mentioned Lola could fill me in. As much as I want you to get this guy, Reign is what I care about. Now get your ass out of bed, and dressed. Meet me and the others up front.”
Athena, as regal as a queen spun, on the spot and left the room. She really had a commanding air about her, and I hated that. It wasn’t anything special, really. Most of the Gods had that air about them. I did at times, and I’m sure it rubbed people around me the wrong way from time to time.
Lola groaned. “I don’t want to get out of the bed.”
“Neither do I.” I kissed the top of her head. The last thing in the world I wanted to do was ruin this by thinking about Reign and Hera. There was little doubt that my mother was up on Mount Olympus keeping tabs on us.
“But we have to,” Lola said.
I nodded. “We do, but we can linger for a moment.”
Pulling her tighter against me, her breasts rubbed my chest, and I kissed her. Her lips were fiery, and I loved it. The passion in the kiss was intense and nearly led to round two. But we forced each other to pull away and get out of the bed.
As I dressed, I watched Lola. She moved with more grace than most other hackers did. I was sure of that since all the other hackers I had seen were clumsy. Not to say all were, but she didn’t fit the stereotype.
Though she didn’t have the agility of Fleur or Felicity. It was hard to hold a torch to them, as they had Paragon abilities to help them out, but Lola was still amazing to watch move. Her hips swayed as she dressed in her too-hot-for-teacher outfit. Her collared shirt was undone partly to expose her glorious breasts. A giant tease really. Her short skirt showed her stunning legs, and I had trouble not looking. I didn’t care if those that saw me thought I was a pig. Her body was hot, and I liked to take it in.
“Let’s go,” she said once we both were dressed.

Surprise Allies
In the front area, Athena was tapping her feet on the floor. She glared at me as I entered the gathering section of the warehouse. I clearly hadn’t moved fast enough for her liking. This wasn’t the first time I annoyed her, and it wouldn’t be the last. We had that type of sibling rivalry.
“About time,” Athena said. “We don’t have an eternity.”
It was true we didn’t, but a few minutes wasn’t going to be the difference between life and death. Athena knew that, but she had this intensity about her that she didn’t care.
“I’m aware. So, what did you learn?”
Athena smiled. “First I want to hear about this Elric Michael.”
Lola told both Athena and Felicity, who was on a chair munching on some kale. Not my first choice of a snack, but the squirrelkin ate nearly anything. Her first choice was vegetables and nuts.
“Interesting,” Athena said. “I think that maybe the two are related.”
Everything was related in a way. Hearing that didn’t really surprise me one bit.
“How so?” Fleur asked. She was sitting on the computer desk, and Lola glared at her. It was clear they had been giving each other grief about that for years. It was interesting the way the two women acted around each other.
“We were able to talk to one of Reign’s men,” my sister said.
Lola narrowed her eyebrows. “Talk?”
Felicity laughed around a bite of the kale. “Athena has a way with people. I like it.”
I groaned. Athena’s way around people at times was to force them to talk and hurt them. “Please say you didn’t torture him.” It wouldn’t surprise me if she did, but I hoped she hadn’t.
“I would do no such thing,” Athena protested. “I’m no barbarian.”
I pursed my lips and glared at her. She and I both knew that all the Gods have done things that many humans would look down upon. “Good.”
“She could have had him eating off her feet,” Felicity said. “It was magical.”
I blinked. “You flirted?”
“You sound surprised,” Athena said. “I have had kids and been with men and women.”
That
was all true, but I was still taken aback by the thought of her flirting with a guy to get info. “What did you learn?”
“Reign is working with some mysterious backer, which we already knew,” Athena said. “Though there is more than one. He plans to double-cross both of them.”
“That’s no surprise,” I said. “Hera has to know he will.”
All of the women nodded. “No doubt,” Lola said. “If your mother is anything like you say. She’s probably planning on double-crossing him.”
“She is,” Athena said. “Just a matter of time.”
“Who is the other person he is working with?” Fleur asked.
“I didn’t get a name, but the guy swore up and down it was a Paragon. One that was awfully powerful, and could mess with time.”
That was a perplexing thing to learn. “Reign hates Paragons,” I said. “I find it hard to believe he would be working with one. Especially, one that is robbing people.”
“Brother, you forget. He’s already worked with Finn. And with our sister. While Reign had to know that Eris was what he said she was,” Athena said, pausing slightly. “He appears to be willing to sacrifice his beliefs to achieve his goals.”
“He took my brother’s powers away,” Fleur said. “While Finn and I don’t get along, that is a terrible thing.”
“Agreed,” Athena said. “It’s disgusting and something I would have expected a thousand years ago. Not today. Maybe we can solve that issue, but that is for a later date.”
Fleur didn’t appear to be happy about that. Reign and her father, Fenrir, had worked together to create a weapon to remove Paragons’ powers. We didn’t know how many Paragons they de-powered, but I had to imagine that it wasn’t a small number.
It angered me that Reign so far had gotten away with it. As well as Fenrir. The man behind Walker Consolidated and most of the technology, to date hasn’t paid for what he’s done. Finn was in prison, and Eris was with Hades in the Underworld.
“What do we do about Fenrir,” I said. “He’s part of this too.”
Athena nodded. “He is, and I think he is one of the reasons that Reign is working with both this Elric and Belladonna. He doesn’t trust Fleur’s father.”
Fleur snorted. “I wouldn’t trust my father, either. He’s known for only doing what is best for him.”
“Yup,” Lola said. “Not once in the time that I’ve known both Fleur and him have I seen him do a kind thing just for the sake of it. Fenrir is cutthroat.”
Most of the people that we were dealing with now were that way. All out to get what they wanted and didn’t care who they took down in the process. And we were right in all their crosshairs. That was a frightening thought.
Having three or four crazy, vengeful people and Gods wanting to take us out. This was going to be an all-out battle to the end, and I loved it.
“Let’s get one of these bastards,” I said. “Then we can work on the second, third, and fourth.”
“Agreed,” Felicity said.
Athena nodded. “Now that I’m fairly certain your Broadway job isn’t a distraction, he should be the top priority.”
I grinned from ear to ear. Having Athena take part in removing this time travel bubble dude was going to be great. She was one of the best minds around. Maybe she would be able to figure out what I couldn’t. I had no shame in admitting when I needed help. Not at my age. I was too old to act like a child anymore.
“Let’s do this,” I said.

Broadway
Over the next few days, we scouted the area around Broadway. Since Elric already knew Fleur, Felicity, and me, we had to stay away. There was little we could do there. I had a feeling that if I showed my face too close to his territory again, he would sic his dogs on me.
“I can take him,’ I said.
Lola and Athena were out looking for Elric’s hideout. They had to have a place they were using to store their goods.
“I’m sure you can,” Felicity said. “But now isn’t the time. The city is on edge.”
It was true that many of the talking heads were doing their best to make the people hate Paragons, while only some argued for us. It wasn’t helping the cause. If the news people would have a united front on the issue, we could move forward.
“I need to do something,” I said. I hated being sidelined, and I know both of them did too. It really made it hard on us that Lola had to go out. She was a computer person, and now she was in the field. That severely limited her ability to do computer work.
“We know they’re stealing,” I said. “They have to be doing something with the goods.”
“Mostly taking money,” Felicity said.
That was true, but they did take other items. A few watches and cell phones had been in the reports.
“They have to have a fence,” I said.
Fleur groaned. “You watch way too much TV and movies.”
“Not denying that. When I was stuck on Mount Olympus for years, Netflix was my best friend.”
Felicity had a carrot in her hand and stopped mid-motion. “What all did you do on Mount Olympus?”
She was the only one that believed me. Didn’t doubt me about who I was. “I watched a lot of TV. Played way too many video games. And trained with my sword.”
Felicity nodded. “Sounds like a great place. Why would you leave?”
I sighed. “Being around the same people and meeting no one else. You’ve met Athena. You really want that to be the best company you have for sixty years?”
“Now that you put it that way,” the squirrelkin said.
“Don’t encourage him,” Fleur said.
“I can’t believe you don’t believe he is a God,” Felicity said. “Sure, I was a bit skeptical at first. But I think it’s obvious that he is. Your brother sure is sure that Ares and Eris are what they say.”
Fleur nodded. “He is.”
The White Angel looked at me in a different light. As if she was starting to accept it. Fleur had been in awe of the power of my sword. She even said that I wasn’t a normal Paragon.
“Either way,” Fleur said. “We can’t just go to pawn shops and ask if they bought this stuff.”
I crinkled my nose. “Why not?”
“We aren’t cops,” she pointed out.
“But we are working an official case for them,” I countered.
Fleur groaned. “You have an answer for everything, don’t you?”
I laughed. “I wish I did.”
“I thought Gods were all-knowing, all-powerful,” Fleur said.
“Again, I wish.”
“I say we go talk to some pawn shops or other shady people,” Felicity said.
Fleur rolled her eyes. “Shady people. Not all pawn shops are shady.”
The squirrelkin shrugged. “I don’t know. Seems like they are taking advantage of people.”
I had never been to one and had no clue how they worked. This was something I wasn’t going to get involved with. “Let’s just go see if we can find out where the goods are going.”
Fleur could see that she was outnumbered in this one. “Very well, but this is much more a task for Lola.”
It would be a task for both of us. Lola working the computer end, and the three of us hitting the pavement. The one thing I knew without a doubt was that people selling stolen goods might not be the type to log it on a computer for the police to find. That didn’t sound like a smart business strategy.
Leaving the hideout and getting into the car, we ventured to Long Island. Fleur had learned on some of her other missions that many of the brokers, as she called them, were there and not close to where Elric was operating out of.
“We need a name,” Felicity said.
“What?” Fleur asked. Since it was her car, Fleur was driving, and Felicity was in the back.
“A team name,” she said. “Like the comics or movies.”
“We don’t need a name,” Fleur said.
“I don’t know,” I said. “A name
sounds fun. How about team Ares.”
“Not gonna happen,” Fleur said. “Lola and I never had a name.”
“You have code names for the two of you, why not for our group?” I asked. “I don’t see why we can’t. Like Felicity said. The movies and comic books have them. Justice League, Avengers, X-Men, to name a few.”
“And we aren’t comic book characters,” Fleur said. “We aren’t in the latest MCU movie.”
“But imagine if we were,” Felicity said. “We’d have a name.”
“Not taking part in this,” Fleur said.
Normally I thought Fleur was fun, but right now she was being dull and boring. “If not team Ares,” I said. “God’s Warriors?”
“I like the Mighty Paragons,” Felicity said.
The two of us shot out several more names while Fleur drove us to the first stop. She parked in the slimiest and dirtiest place I had seen for a car. Stepping out, I instantly felt like I needed a shower.
“This place is worse than my old apartment,” I said.
Fleur shrugged. “Nothing is worse than that place.”
“Hey, that was all I could afford.” It had been a shithole of an apartment. Living with Fleur and Lola was a significant upgrade. Yet, I didn’t want to hear about my old place being that terrible.
“Good thing we came along and saved you,” Fleur teased.
“Yes,” Felicity said. “A very good thing.”
“You never saw my old place.” We were walking to the shop called Sucker Punch Pawn Shop. With a name like that, one couldn’t possibly trust it. “This has to be a place that someone like Elric would go.”
“While I haven’t been to your place, I heard about it,” Felicity said. “And I agree. What a bad name. Breeds mistrust.”
“Actually,” Fleur said. “The guy who owns it is great. I figured he’d be able to help us out.”
Now I felt like a jerk. “Oh,” I said.
We walked in and were greeted by a tall man with dark skin. His head was shaved, but he had a thick beard. A look that I never understood, but I wasn’t about to say a thing.
